“I’m too busy with my family to go to church!”
Let me help you understand why you need to be in God and in His assembly using the scriptures to show you the blessing on your non believing, non attending family because of YOU and your faith.
Family members are often blessed by God simply by virtue of belonging to their particular family and not because of any great personal feat or accolade.
For example, Noah is described as the only blameless individual on earth prior to the great flood, and yet Noah together with his ENTIRE extended family was saved on the ark (Genesis 6–7).
Joshua 6:17 clearly identifies Rahab as the individual responsible for hiding the Hebrew spies from discovery in Jericho. But ALL Rahab’s family members (who do not appear to have played any active part in the rescue) were delivered and spared after the walls of Jericho fell down.
We also learn in Acts 16:22–34 that the Philippian jailer acted as the primary point of contact for Paul and Silas during their imprisonment in Philippi. But his ENTIRE household benefited from his personal encounter, and all were saved.
Family first?
You can’t attend church because family first? Because your family is first, you must attend church!
Now that’s the right perspective! Wow!
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
And we are now accountable to The Word! Amen
